Vaccinate your child on time

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) is running a child vaccination campaign called ‘Vaccinate Your Child on Time’.

The campaign encourages us to make sure our children get their routine vaccinations when they are offered. These vaccinations provide the best protection against a range of potentially serious diseases, such as measles, mumps and rubella, which have not gone away due to COVID-19.

Don’t worry if you think your child may have missed a vaccination; it’s not too late to catch up. BCUHB want to reassure parents & carers that strict infection prevention and control measures, including social distancing and PPE, are in place in all healthcare settings, including your GP Practice who will administer your child’s vaccinations.

These measures help to protect you, your child, and the healthcare staff who administer the vaccinations, from contracting and spreading COVID-19.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call your GP Practice or Health Visitor who will be glad to help.
