Noel is a local resident having lived in Holywell for almost 30 years.
He has previously worked in the Civil Services in various educational roles for nearly 30 years.
Since retiring he has been a school governor at Ysgol Glan Aber, a feeder school to Ysgol Treffynnon, and is currently the Vice-Chair of their Governing Body.
He has been a member of the Flintshire County Council – School Budget Forum since its inception and is currently the Chair of this body.
He is currently a Volunteer Tutor with EPP within the BCUHB helping to coach and assist people all with long term illnesses from diabetes, heart, chronic pain & cancer to once again enjoy the quality of life, as they did before their medical intervention.
He is passionate about the provision and delivery of high standards of education for all, especially the youth of today, particularly within his local community.
He, along with the other Board members and the Senior Leadership Team, are firmly committed to ensuring that Ysgol Treffynnon achieves its own vision of ‘Excellence’.
Noel says, “I will bring all my experiences to support the work of the IEB and the whole School Community to ensure the best possible outcomes for all and establishing Ysgol Treffynnon as the best school it can be once again.”
