Ex- Holywell High School student Ruby Mc Gilloway, who left 6th Form in June 2016 to study Psychology and Business in Manchester Metropolitan University, made a surprise visit to Ysgol Treffynnon. This was Ruby’s first chance to tour the new school and she couldn’t believe the difference in facilities available to the students.
Mr Earnshaw, Ruby’s Business teacher, showed Ruby around the modern Business Suite and said that “Ruby was an excellent sixth form student and we are so proud of her achievements. It is a pleasure to welcome her back to our new school and fantastic to be able to keep in touch with our ex-students even after they have left school to begin university courses and graduated. Ruby is a great role model for young Ysgol Treffynnon students!’
